The overall goal of the project is to improve livelihood of youth and vulnerable women ethnic minority populations and capacity building to the existing 53 CBOs in Ratanakiri province.
Indigenous women groups, youth groups and cooperatives are expected to improve the skills for production and accessed to market and their land is protected. This project aimed to achieve three main results:
- Indigenous women and youth have gained the vocational skills on crop production, textile and processing techniques enabling them to enhance productively for household consumption and market.
- Access to markets and cooperatives network have been improved through the design and implementation of economic development plans with a gender perspective based on traditional knowledge and uses of resources.
- Improved CSO structures to support business activities, land security and land tenure issues.
This project is implementing in cooperation with Ockenden Cambodia, started on 1st September 2014 and ending on 31 August 2017.
